Learning Program

Procrastination is a habit - and habits can be changed.

Most people who struggle to start tasks aren't lazy. They're caught in a loop of avoidance, guilt, and false urgency that repeats itself every single day. This program was built to break that loop - not with willpower pep talks, but with structure you can actually follow.

Participants work through live webinars, guided exercises, and downloadable reference materials - the kind of download guide you'll return to weeks later when old patterns creep back. Every session is designed around how procrastination actually functions, not how we wish it did.

Six weeks that go deeper than any download manual ever could

Procrastination research consistently points to one root cause: emotional avoidance. When a task feels threatening - too big, too vague, or tied to fear of failure - the brain routes around it. This program addresses that mechanism directly, session by session.

Priya Oduya spent three years managing a team while finishing a graduate degree. She kept every productivity app on her phone, downloaded every free download guide she could find, and still couldn't submit work on time. What changed wasn't a new tool - it was understanding why she avoided starting.

Each webinar builds on the previous one. Week one focuses on recognizing your specific avoidance pattern. By week four, participants are working with real deadlines and real tasks - not hypothetical exercises. The shift is gradual, which is why it tends to hold.

Tobias Fenwick joined from a different timezone, attending sessions at 6 a.m. before his workday. He described the live format as the part that made the difference - knowing someone would ask him directly what he'd tried that week kept him accountable in a way self-paced content never had.

"I'd read every article and tried every system. This was the first time someone actually explained what was happening in my head - and gave me something small enough to try the next morning."
- Priya Oduya, graduate student and program participant

Three phases, one through-line

01

Diagnosis - weeks 1 & 2

Before changing anything, you map the pattern. When does avoidance kick in? What tasks trigger it? Participants leave week two with a written profile of their specific procrastination type - not a generic label, but a description of their actual behavior.

Self-assessment Pattern mapping
02

Interruption - weeks 3 & 4

This is where the real work starts. Sessions cover task decomposition, starting rituals, and how to handle the moment right before you'd normally bail. Participants bring live examples from their own week - work tasks, personal projects, anything they've been avoiding.

The facilitator works through these examples in real time. It's uncomfortable for about fifteen minutes and then something clicks.

03

Maintenance - weeks 5 & 6

Old patterns return under stress. The final phase builds the habits and reference points that hold when life gets noisy. Participants get a structured download guide - a personal maintenance document they fill in across both sessions - to carry forward after the program ends.
