Anti-Spam Policy
Last Updated: July 5, 2026
This Anti-Spam Policy describes the standards and practices that Delay Break Lab ("we," "us," or "our") follows to prevent unsolicited, deceptive, or abusive electronic communications. By using the services available at delaybreaklab.com, you agree to comply with this policy in full. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
1. Purpose and Scope
This policy applies to all users, participants, presenters, and any other parties who access or use our platform, including but not limited to webinar attendees, registered account holders, and third-party integrators. It governs all electronic communications sent through or in connection with our services, including email, in-platform messaging, chat features, and any other communication channels we provide.
Our platform is designed to facilitate meaningful, consent-based educational interactions. We are committed to maintaining the integrity of those interactions by prohibiting practices that undermine trust, overwhelm recipients, or misrepresent the origin or nature of communications.
2. Definitions
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Spam | Any unsolicited, bulk, or deceptive electronic message sent without the recipient's prior consent, regardless of the channel used. |
| Commercial Electronic Message | Any message sent primarily to promote a product, service, event, or opportunity, whether or not compensation is involved. |
| Consent | A freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous indication by a recipient that they agree to receive communications of a described type from a described sender. |
| Opt-In | A positive, affirmative action taken by a recipient to subscribe to or request communications. |
| Opt-Out | A mechanism allowing a recipient to withdraw consent and stop receiving communications at any time. |
| User | Any individual or entity accessing the platform, whether registered or not. |
3. Prohibited Conduct
The following activities are strictly prohibited on our platform and through any communications associated with our services:
3.1 Unsolicited Messaging
Sending any message - whether promotional, informational, or otherwise - to recipients who have not explicitly opted in to receive such communications. This includes bulk email campaigns, mass in-platform messages, and repeated one-to-one messages sent without a prior relationship or consent.
3.2 Harvesting and Scraping
Collecting, harvesting, or scraping email addresses, usernames, or any other contact information from our platform, public directories, or any other source for the purpose of sending unsolicited communications.
3.3 Deceptive Headers and Subject Lines
Using false, misleading, or deceptive sender names, email addresses, domain names, or subject lines in any communication. All identifying information in messages must accurately represent the sender and the content of the message.
3.4 Identity Misrepresentation
Impersonating Delay Break Lab, our staff, our partners, or any other individual or organization in any communication or platform activity. Using our name, logo, or branding in any unauthorized manner to lend credibility to unsolicited messages is expressly forbidden.
3.5 Malicious Content Distribution
Sending or distributing messages that contain malware, viruses, phishing links, fraudulent offers, or any content designed to deceive, harm, or exploit recipients.
3.6 Circumventing Opt-Out Requests
Continuing to send messages to any recipient who has submitted a valid opt-out or unsubscribe request. Once an opt-out is received, communications of the relevant type must cease promptly and permanently unless the recipient re-subscribes through an affirmative opt-in action.
3.7 Third-Party List Usage
Importing or using purchased, rented, or otherwise acquired mailing lists to send communications through or in connection with our platform. Only lists compiled from direct, documented opt-in consent are permitted.
3.8 Automated Abuse
Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to send messages, create accounts, or interact with platform features in ways that simulate human behavior for the purpose of distributing spam or circumventing our systems.
4. Our Own Communication Practices
Delay Break Lab holds itself to the same standards it requires of users. Our communications practices include the following commitments:
4.1 Permission-Based Sending
We only send marketing, promotional, or informational emails to individuals who have affirmatively opted in to receive them. Transactional messages - such as registration confirmations, password resets, and account notices - are sent as necessary to fulfill the service relationship.
4.2 Clear Identification
All messages we send clearly identify Delay Break Lab as the sender. We do not use misleading subject lines or sender addresses. Our physical mailing address is included in all marketing communications: 700 12th St NW STE 700, Washington, DC 20005, United States.
4.3 Unsubscribe Mechanism
Every marketing or promotional message we send includes a clear, functional, and easy-to-use unsubscribe link or mechanism. Opt-out requests are processed without delay. Recipients who unsubscribe are removed from the relevant mailing list and will not receive further communications of that type.
4.4 No List Selling or Sharing
We do not sell, rent, lease, or share user contact information with third parties for the purpose of enabling those parties to send unsolicited communications.
4.5 Suppression List Maintenance
We maintain an active suppression list of addresses that have opted out or bounced. This list is checked before any marketing send to ensure opted-out users are never contacted again without renewed consent.
5. Reporting Spam
If you receive a communication that you believe violates this policy - whether from our platform, from another user, or from a party falsely claiming to represent Delay Break Lab - we encourage you to report it immediately.

6. Enforcement and Consequences
6.1 Investigation
Upon receiving a report or detecting suspicious activity through our own monitoring systems, we will investigate the matter promptly. We reserve the right to access account activity, message logs, and related data as necessary to conduct a thorough review.

Obtain valid consent before sending any commercial or promotional message to any recipient.
Honor opt-out requests immediately and maintain your own suppression lists if you conduct any outreach through our platform.
Accurately identify yourself in all communications, including your name or organization name and a valid means of contact.
Refrain from deceptive practices including misleading subject lines, false sender information, and fabricated endorsements.
Ensure list hygiene by removing invalid, bounced, or opted-out addresses from any lists you use in connection with our services.
We are not liable for spam or abusive communications sent by users of our platform. However, we will take action against users who violate this policy upon discovery or report.
8. Third-Party Integrations
Our platform may offer integrations with third-party email service providers, CRM tools, or communication platforms. If you connect such tools to your account, you remain fully responsible for ensuring that your use of those integrations complies with this policy. We do not assume responsibility for the anti-spam practices of third-party services, and we recommend reviewing the policies of any tool you integrate before use.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Anti-Spam Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, platform capabilities, or applicable standards. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
